Freefall Highscore

Antagonistic Applications

Freefall Highscore is the first in a line of antagonizing mobile applications. The 'mobile game' encourages you to drop your device from high places in order to achieve the longest duration of free fall. The app records the video while falling which is submitted along with your score. But be careful, your phone must live to tell the tale in order to qualify.

The application draws attention to the value we attach to these devices, suggesting that in order to participate you'll need to put the thing you value in harms way.

Puff

iPhone application

Part of Karolina Sobecka's Amateur Human Project, Puff is a car accessory exploring our relationship to the environment.

Using an iPhone application connected to the vehicle's onboard diagnostics system, Puff visualizes emission rates in real time to the driver. Through an Arduino and ethernet shield, the emissions data is also visualized to the public via a cartoon cloud shaped lamp attached to the back of the vehicle

The Amateur Human project places Puff at the center of conversation in a series of interviews to help explore how individuals relate to their environment.
